Amazing Chinese acrobatics in Barcelona
This is one of those shows that really are worth seeing. Both for those who like acrobatics you curious as to enjoy the good good shows. It's The Magic Box, the spectacle of Cirque du Ciel Chinese company coming from the Tianqiao district, in Shandong Province, the cradle of acrobatics, to Barcelona to stay at the Coliseum Theatre.
Selected by the Chinese government as a cultural representation of the country on official visits to other countries, Cirque du Ciel deployed with this unique style show, the desire to adapt their production to the artistic demands of the current audience with a fortuitous blend of art and acrobatics.
The Magic Box tells the story of a girl who opens a music box and transported to a magical world where the stunt takes over the show.
30 artists are "magic" to move their bodies in a unique, impeccable docility and daring steps to achieve outstanding performing stunts in this discipline. Almost as if their bodies were plastic, their textures appear to be shaped to the rhythm of ropes, fabrics, hoops and everything that serves to demonstrate their artistic abilities.
Each scene is a new commitment to the wisdom of merging street dance, ballet, electronic, symphonic and folk with hip movements not only but also throughout the body, thereby achieving that "until the toe "Copper role.
As if they were children who meet to play, "The Magic Box" transports the viewer into the world of fun and joy and makes you feel that adrenaline that exists in a harness and climb from there to contemplate the fascinating capabilities that human beings have to brighten, excite and surprise those around them.
The Magic Box will be at the Coliseum Theatre in Barcelona until 22 January.
