Christmas nights at the Palau Moxó
Exclusiv view
In these pre-Christmas dates, Palau Moxó offers the possibility of a nocturnal visit to the stables and the floor of the building, and also learn the secrets of getting into the loft building where he lived the service of the house. After the visit, the Escape dels Reef Gracia Lluïsos interpret the repertoire "Moxó Palau musical landscapes" ... with a glass of cava! These original and unique views of the palace of the eighteenth century may be made at eight in the evening of the 20th and 27th December. Furthermore, for the kids too can enjoy a place so unique, we have prepared for the whole family visits and workshops for children (from 27 to 30 December and from 2 to 4 January).
The late baroque building of Palau Moxó (1770) has illustrated classic dyes part of the architectural trends that existed between the Gothic cathedral of Barcelona and the modernism of Gaudí. And it was built under the direction of master builder of the cathedral of Barcelona, Francisco Mestres. It has always belonged to the same family who have kept hidden from the public for 240 years.
The uniqueness of the site is that it is the only private palace of the eighteenth century Barcelona that still retains the original furniture and decor. This is due to the numerous palatial homes that were destroyed during the Civil War and subsequently have fallen victims of real estate speculation. Today, the palace rent their rooms to host exclusive events, weddings, filming, etc. There are two floors (ground floor and ground floor), each with a maximum capacity of 150 guests cocktail style and mounting 122/130 diners feast.
During the year, the palace can be visited only on Fridays in two passes (at 11.00 with explanations in English and 12.00 with the guidance in Castilian and Catalan).
Visits can be arranged by writing or calling to visita@palaumoxo.com 670 46 62 60. You can also find more information by logging on their website: www.palaumoxo.com

The private home of Manuel Rocamora, which contains an impressive collection of art, you can discover this Easter combining the exclusivity of the visit to the mansion with fun activities for children.

"El Bulli-Cooking in Progress" is the documentary about the complex and creative process of the experimental kitchen of Ferran Adrià, now on the big screen. A visual pleasure to understand the keys to the success of the restaurant located in the small Cala Montjoi.
