Tanuki lamp, designed by Itamar Burstein, is a direct light fitting, which can become an indirect light. That is because it is composed of two screens, the exterior can be adjusted using a simple vertical movement, allowing you to change the light output: set-up is achieved by ambient lighting and set down direct light is obtained.

The technical characteristics of the luminaire Tanuki series, produced by the lighting company Metalarte, is found in several versions. The screens can be white, black and green (or a combination of colors between them), has a circulation of 24 cm rosette diameter and locking tilt regular three wires with black electrical cord.

The design of these lamps is Israeli born in 1974. Her designs have also been produced by companies such as VIA France, Roche Bobois and Jofebar. Metalarte is a Catalan company that focuses on the coexistence of new and traditional, whereas the light material to work with rather than an abstract concept.
