10 Years Cooking on the High Sea

Grup Costa is celebrating its 10th anniversary with €100 and €200 gift cards that can be used to enjoy delicious sample menus for two in either of the group's restaurants: Cal Pinxo Palau del Mar or in the Torre de Alta Mar.

Cal Pinxo provides high-class seafood amid a spectacular terrace in Port Vell, along with a selection of rice, fish and molluscs, just a stone's throw from the sea.

Furthermore, the Torre de Alta Mar offers a daily lunch-time menu for less than €50, where clients can tuck into exquisite dishes and soak up one of the finest views in Barcelona. At 72 metres above sea level, the tower that houses this avant-garde designed restaurant offers a complete panoramic view of the city. The Mediterranean is the star of each and every one of its dishes. The finest products from both land and sea, first-rate ingredients such as truffle and caviar breathe life into sublime dishes like Coca de recapte or potato mousse with imperial caviar sauce.

While its wine list boasts over 90 references, the extensive selection of champagne and cava illustrates the elegance and exclusiveness of one of Barcelona's most emblematic locales.

Gastronomy aside, clients can also purchase Rewot in the Torre de Alta Mar: the restaurant's mascot. All Rewot proceeds will be donated to the NGO Active Africa. They were designed by celebrities who, in addition to savouring its cuisine, wanted to help out the cause, such as Shakira, Victoria Abril, Rafa Márquez and Jose Mª Arzak.

Two restaurants, two cuisines and one group celebrating its 10th birthday by offering its gastronomy to the city's most select palettes, in two completely different settings, each one intimately connected to the sea.
