Antonio Orozco Evolves with "Renovatio"

Following three years of silence, and two years of hard work, Spanish singer/songwriter Antonio Orozco will present his new album Renovatio, released on September 29, in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat's Farga on May 23.
"Renovatio Tour" is the title that lends its name to the tour by which Antonio Orozco will promote his fifth studio effort Renovatio, a meticulously produced album whereby the artist's lyrics remain truthful and highlight his social commitment and every-day problems. Alongside rhythms that characterise his now-famous Flamenco-laden pop-rock, he has also drawn upon Latin rhythms, between son and rumba, electric guitars and pianos to produce a 12-track record in which art and essence are draped in lyrics that become the poetry of oblivion, solitude, deceit and abandonment. In short, the only thing he wanted to do with Renovatio was alter the senses of all those who listen to it. The first single is "Que me queda", a song full of emotions for the soul and ears.
While Orozco was born in Barcelona, his heart belongs to Andalusia. Over his 10-year musical career, he has managed to sell some 600,000 copies in Spain thank to Un reloj y una vela, his first album released in 2000, Semilla del silencio from 2002, El principio del comienzo in 2004, Cadizfornia in 2006 and Renovatio in 2009.
All the while, Antonio Orozco has tried to stay true to all his musical influences, something he has managed with the help of Xavi Pérez and Javier Limón, his producers, who also gave him a hand in creating Renovatio and what this album represents: a song-writing evolution.
